Hi my name is Brianna Ashton Donahue, you can call me Bri for short. I was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida where my love for the arts was nourished. I knew from a young age that I was a gifted artist but when I was in first grade I realized it was my dream. I received first place in Snooty's Birthday Art Competition (the world's oldest manatee). It was then at the age of six that I recognized my love and passion for art. Since then, I have worked tirelessly at studying, practicing, learning to see, and growing as an artist.

At Lakewood Ranch High School, I participated in the Advanced Placement Art Program for two years. In the second year, I was a mentor for the junior class. During the time I spent in A.P, I was apart of an art installation gallery at Eckerd College titled "Unheard Voices" which visually expressed attributes of femininity. I also was artist of the month in 2018 at Ana Maria Art Gallery. I received recognition from the Florida Sun Coast Watercolor Society as artist of the year representing LRHS, along with a $1000 scholarship for college.

At the University of Central Florida, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. During my time at UCF, I participated in two internships, the first being an education internship studying teaching art at LRHS, and the second was a printmaking internship at Flying Horse Editions. I also conducted freelance work with international environmental company ERIS Info,  local pubs and clients throughout Florida.

I look forward to what the future holds for me in design, where it may take me, the connections I'll make and the lives I will impact.
